Like a walk through the country side living on a small farm is full of daily surprises, sometimes wonderful and amazing, and other times puzzling and sad. I hope you will walk with me as I live out my dream of living on this tiny farm. You will come to know the dogs, cats, Shetland sheep and chickens that make up this farm and what goes into keeping them happy and healthy. Come and join the journey with me.

Why Cat's Go On Long Unplanned Trips

Time to take out the trash. Somethings funny though, the sack seems abnormally heavy. What the...?

Oh. Of course.

Help, help! My brother is stuck in the laundry sack!

(No cats were injured, thrown in the trash or suffocated in the making of these posts. I'm constantly trying avert such disasters and do not leave plastic around them unsupervised...since obviously they can not read 'do not play with plastic bags')

I'm lucky, my cats hate the sound of crackling plastic. That saves me a lot of trouble and them too.

I have another "don't leave empty plastic bags lying around" household. Plus I have baby locks on all cupboard. All because of curious, nosy, mischievous cats.

LOL, it's always something with cats.

Tammy, that second pic is so funny. Just the look alone! Thanks for the laugh. Your cats are hilarious.

yes Tammy, I have "progressive" without the line bifocals, also my glasses turn to sunglasses when I go outside, and I had anitglare added, like I said I got the works. I'd like to have the money back for all the money I've spent on eyeglasses over the years.

LOL! They can sure find things you never think about, can't they? Now you know why cats end up taking trips in suitcases and making the national news....or is it "Mews"?

Joanna,I know I can't leave anything for even a minute if I don't want nosey kittens in the middle of it! Marnie--my oldest cat (Meshach) used to be scared of plastic, but even he has gotten mellowed to it. Louise--ah...great idea..baby locks. I have one cabinet (where the trash is of course) that they frequently pry open. Thanks! Christine, ain't that the truth? AJ--it's lucky they do look so cute most of the time...ha..
Joanna, thanks for the eyeglass info. Definately will try that.
Vicki & Kim, Thanks, glad you enjoyed.
Kathy--I remember last year a cat was shipped out in a box across country. He came up missing, owners were clueless what happened to him, til they got a call from a 1,000 miles away! He was fine too. Now I know exactly how something like that could happen!
