Like a walk through the country side living on a small farm is full of daily surprises, sometimes wonderful and amazing, and other times puzzling and sad. I hope you will walk with me as I live out my dream of living on this tiny farm. You will come to know the dogs, cats, Shetland sheep and chickens that make up this farm and what goes into keeping them happy and healthy. Come and join the journey with me.

Hot Summer Evening In The Garden

Busy Butterfly on Butterfly Bush

Black Eyed Susan Nods Gently Over the Path

Feverfew at the Garden's Edge

Apple Harvest
(A harvest of one apple!)

It's miserably hot here, and drying out fast. Tonight I spent some time in the yard and garden, weeding, watering and enjoying. I love to walk amongst the plants and turn their names over in my mind. Feverfew, Four O' Clocks, Black Eyed Susans, Snow on the Mountain. So descriptive and as lovely as the flowers themselves.

After working in the garden, I filled Boone's pool and we waded and cooled
off for a spell.

I think the fact that Boone ended up with you is proof that there is a God!
