Like a walk through the country side living on a small farm is full of daily surprises, sometimes wonderful and amazing, and other times puzzling and sad. I hope you will walk with me as I live out my dream of living on this tiny farm. You will come to know the dogs, cats, Shetland sheep and chickens that make up this farm and what goes into keeping them happy and healthy. Come and join the journey with me.
Enjoyed seeing your lilacs on the previous post. Mine are blooming too so I need to get photos.
Last year I had bunches of morels come up in my yard but wasn't sure what they were. This year I hope they come back. Looking forward to cooking and eating some. Marnie
These guys are a photo op a minute it seems! ha... Marnie, if you have them positively indentifed, AND are lucky enough to have them in your yard, then you should have some great eating. We dip ours in a little egg, coat with flour or cornmeal and fry. Not healty but wonderful! Kathy....hmmm...would you mean Noah or Meshach? There are actually three kitties missing from the photo--Noah, Meshach and Tempe, off busy about something else no doubt. Most mornings when I open the door they have to see whats going on with the outside kitties and dogs.... Tammy

Hmmmmm, my cats look like that if I'm just a minute or two late serving dinner.
That is hilarious!
I love that photo!
