Like a walk through the country side living on a small farm is full of daily surprises, sometimes wonderful and amazing, and other times puzzling and sad. I hope you will walk with me as I live out my dream of living on this tiny farm. You will come to know the dogs, cats, Shetland sheep and chickens that make up this farm and what goes into keeping them happy and healthy. Come and join the journey with me.

More Moonlight Madness......
The moon has been big and bright the last couple of days. When it first rises it has been a dark orange color. My camera just doesn't quite capture it, but I tried...
But aside from that...what other moonlight madness has been running amok? Well, you know about the six little kittens, of course, that were born on the full moon. Which by the way seem to be doing fine. There is one I may have to supplement, but she is holding her own so far. Very lively little swarm they are. Butterfly is going to be hard pressed to keep up with them, feeding and otherwise. More pictures and updates this weekend sometime I hope. They are getting weighed daily, so I just need to incorporate that into a photo shoot!
Back to that other business though..I don't think you knew about this.......
What a lovely collie fix I had last night. Mobbed and rubbed on, and shown off for. Collies falling on their backs right and left, loudly itching their backs, making sure everyone was watching. Collies randomly sitting down and barking so that they can get the rest stirred up and playing. What beautiful sweet creatures. Oh my. Those long pointy noses, and soft fluffy coats and little almond eyes. I've missed these things. A visit to Jody and Ariel's breeder was in order, don't you think?
It's been a busy full moon this month, oh yes, indeedy. Oh...and by the way.. six little kittens aren't the only new addition to the fur family this week.
Oh yeah...
Have a great weekend. More coming soon!

Could it be?
Would it be?
A COLLIE????
They're SO beautiful!
You mentioned perhaps getting another Collie ... mmmmm, I'm wondering. How is Heidi Jade doing?
Collies are nice. . .except for the noses. What's that about?
What's happening here, Tammy? A cliffhanger? What sort of person would dare to . . . oh, never mind. ;-)
Yes! You all know by now, but it's a collie. :-)
TJ: Those are CALLED noses...something that those boxer-ish dogs don't have...
Vicki: I learned from the Master...Wait! is that the phone I hear ringing??? ;-)
