Here's my new Adirondack chair I got a few weeks ago. It's really comfortable. I haven't sat in it much though, it's been so hot with not a bit of breeze. I hope I'll take time to sit outside and just enjoy things. I got it from one of the Mennonite stores. I've been saving up for it for quite awhile. I've moved it around several different spots and still am not sure where I'll put it.
Here's one of the views from my new chair........The weather is a little cooler, --in the 80s instead of almost a 100 every day. The humidity is extremely high though (94 percent at almost 10 p.m.) so it doesn't seem as cool as it is (66 degrees). However, it is a big relief after the oppressive two weeks we've had. I think it's suppose to remain in the high 80s this week with 60s at night. Maybe I'll get my tomato patch weeded. It's a mess. Boone and I went for a little walk tonight, so you can tell it's not as hot. I'm trying to distract him from things, as he is taking losing Ariel pretty hard. I think he enjoyed his walk.
Hope you all have a good week.

I love your chair and your 'view' ... Boone is just too cool and I'm glad you both got to go for a walk.
We're suppose to cool down a bit for a few days, but back to unseasonably hot temperatures again by the 4th.
Gotta love that Boone! He's got a face that nobody can ignore. I love your chair..hope you can sit out there and have many happy thoughts.
Great chair -- hope you can spend some time sitting in the shade!
I can remember when my Rottweiler/Husky cross got struck by a car and killed. I was devastated and my Treeing Walker Coonhound (Sadie) walked around for days ~ whining and crying. It drove me CRAZY! At first I would yell at her to shut up (I was in such pain) but it finally occurred to me that she missed Rocky too. From then on, I would drop down and hug her whenever she cried. It helped us both.
Hoping you and Boone can help each other through the grief of losing Ariel...
