Like a walk through the country side living on a small farm is full of daily surprises, sometimes wonderful and amazing, and other times puzzling and sad. I hope you will walk with me as I live out my dream of living on this tiny farm. You will come to know the dogs, cats, Shetland sheep and chickens that make up this farm and what goes into keeping them happy and healthy. Come and join the journey with me.

Lookslike you and all your critters had a pleasant Thanksgiving. Isn't it funny how there are some dishes that it just wouldn't be the right meal with out - (My sister always brings the 5 cup salad with marshmallow, grapes, pineapple, mandarine oranges & sour cream - it's very sweet of her not to put cocoanut in it because The Shepherd doesn't like cocoanut)
What kind of dressing goes on the cornbread salad? Is it like a panzanella (italian bread salad) with oil and vinegar?
Already tired of turkey, we had salmon for dinner - yum. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. T.

Did I ever tell you that it took me WEEKS to figure out that the picture of Sage Grass Cat, on your sidebar is actually a picture of an upside down cat's nose?????

Happy Birthday!!!

Hi Tina, It is funny how certain foods seem like they make the holiday. The dressing for the cornbread salad was pretty simple--just Miracle Whip and a little mustard. Everyone seemed to like it.
Nancy, that is pretty funny about Sage--I once did that on someones goat picture on a blog. :-)
