Like a walk through the country side living on a small farm is full of daily surprises, sometimes wonderful and amazing, and other times puzzling and sad. I hope you will walk with me as I live out my dream of living on this tiny farm. You will come to know the dogs, cats, Shetland sheep and chickens that make up this farm and what goes into keeping them happy and healthy. Come and join the journey with me.

Glad to see you're not overrun with the real ones. I have to admit I was a little nervous about the possibility when we were there! (Boone is SUCH a handsome boy!)
WOW, what fun Boone is having with his 'big snake. :o) I love to watch my pup play with his toys, especially the outside ones ... you just know he is sayin', "Life is good ... life IS good for me!!!" His latest, and favorite 'toy', are the ladybugs that have come out in FULL FORCE here ... they keep him busy, watching them/chasing them, and, eeeeek, eating them!!!
I can certainly see why that snake would have to be an outside toy. Boone could clear a whole ROOM with that thing!
You go Big Guy...
Boone is so cute -- but I'm glad it wasn't a real black snake.
What would single women do without the humor of our dogs? Boone obviously enjoys his toys!
I can't imagine the snake and Boone both in the house! Yikers!
Could not keep from smiling while looking at the images of him with his snake. Hilarious!
I LOVE watching dogs play with their toys, they aren't the only ones that get true pleasure out of it. :) Does Boone "de-stuff" his toys too?
