Like a walk through the country side living on a small farm is full of daily surprises, sometimes wonderful and amazing, and other times puzzling and sad. I hope you will walk with me as I live out my dream of living on this tiny farm. You will come to know the dogs, cats, Shetland sheep and chickens that make up this farm and what goes into keeping them happy and healthy. Come and join the journey with me.

I'm so glad you told us to biggify! He looks positively possessed! I would be running, screaming for my life!

I do love your big, brown daug (?)

Every time you show him, I remember his story, and I am SO glad you saved him, and share him with us.

What a face! What a character.

Janna--he likes to do chores with me in the morning, and usually ends up getting all wound up, so this is his 'I'm happy, want to play face'!
Corinne--It's just hard to catch the full effect unless you biggify it. ha...
Nancy--Truly this is his 'happy face'. :-) Although sometimes I do scream when he comes racing towards me like that. He has only miscalculated once, but that was enough. Just one little inch off and he managed to knock me completely off my feet, just missing a barb wire fence. But he really is a good boy. Really.
Vickie--He seems more like an, er, hippo at times. ;-0
"Orange"--thanks for stopping by, I dropped by your blog and you have some lovely photos! Sad that your little corgi has cancer, but wonderful that he has managed to beat it this long and have you to take care of him. He is a cutie!

I can sympthaize with getting knocked over! Lady, our Great Pyranese, when she was younger, did a few "miscalculations"

For those of you who don't know, I am five foot three(compared to my hubby's six foot four). So her running into him was no big deal, but me, well she knocked me flat several times!

I don't know how much Boone weighs, but Lady weighs 103 pounds as of last month!
